Adjusted Self Pay Rates

For those on the front lines
15% off regular self pay rates
This discount is for our self-pay first responders, military personnel, educators, and fellow medical or mental health providers. Your work is invaluable, and I believe you deserve a financial break because you often don’t get the recognition—or compensation—you truly deserve. Valid identification is required to apply the discount.

Sliding Scale
Investments Vary
We understand that finances can be a barrier, and want to ensure therapy is accessible to everyone. Sliding scale pricing, based on income, is available for self-pay clients with an approved application. A limited number of spots are offered. Contact me for more details and to request an application. Proof of income is required.
Choosing to pay out of pocket for therapy instead of using insurance offers significant benefits, particularly in the quality of care and personal privacy. Here’s why:

✅ No Insurance Restrictions – Insurance companies often dictate the length, frequency, and even type of therapy you can receive. With self-pay, therapy is tailored to your needs—not an insurance company’s rules.
✅ More Privacy & Control – Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis to cover therapy, which becomes part of your permanent medical record. Self-pay eliminates this requirement, allowing you to seek support without unnecessary labels or concerns about future impacts (e.g., life insurance, job applications, security clearances).
✅ Access to the Right Therapist – Many skilled and specialized therapists do not accept insurance due to low reimbursement rates and excessive paperwork. Self-pay allows you to choose the best therapist for you, rather than being limited to in-network providers.
✅ Truly Client-Centered Care – In self-pay therapy, decisions are made between you and your therapist, not dictated by an insurance company’s policies. You get to decide what your therapy looks like, for as long as you need it.
For those who want flexible, high-quality mental health care without restrictions, self-pay is often the best investment in long-term well-being.
