Support Groups and Group Therapy
Quality Care in Numbers
Healing often involves connecting with others who share similar experiences or perspectives. Group settings can be a valuable alternative to one-on-one therapy, offering a more cost-effective option. Support groups are typically peer-led and have a more relaxed structure, focusing on shared experiences and mutual encouragement. In contrast, group therapy is more in-depth and structured, guided by a therapist or licensed provider to address specific therapeutic goals.

Depending on your needs, we often recommend a combination of individual and group therapy for the most comprehensive and effective support.

Thriving Through PMHDs Therapy Group
This group focuses on supporting those who are experiencing perinatal mental health disorders (PMHD) and want to not only survive, but thrive.

PMADs are the number one complication of pregnancy and birth. Yet, they are the least screened for. If you believe you may be experiencing an undiagnosed PMAD, please contact your doctor or therapist today.

This is a closed group with six sessions once a week. Each session focuses on one or more of the eight 'Steps to Wellness' developed by the founder of Postpartum Support International (PSI), Jane Honikman, M.S.

For an overview on PMADs visit PSI's website at https://www.postpartum.net/learn-more/

#WeCanDoHardThings Walking Group
This group is a walk-and-talk support group meant to bring together real people with honest struggles. Think book club, but with walking and discussing your personal "hard thing." The focus is not on exercise, but movement is an added bonus.

This group is an open group and meets on Friday mornings at 8:00am weather permitting. Stroller friendly, so bring those little ones not big enough for school. Locations may rotate.
