I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) provider specializing in the treatment of OCD, high anxiety, panic, social anxiety, and unusual thoughts. I also work with individuals, couples, and families navigating life’s transitions, helping them build practical skills that create lasting change outside of the therapy room.

My passion for this work is personal. As a mother of three, I sought therapy after the loss of a pregnancy. Although I was in therapy, my symptoms were never recognized as severe OCD. What I believed were normal worries about my pregnancies, my children, and my own health were actually obsessive fears that kept growing stronger. The more I sought reassurance and tried to calm myself, the worse my OCD became. I later learned that reassurance is one of the very things that can unintentionally keep OCD going. That experience fundamentally changed how I understand anxiety and shaped the therapist I am today.

My path to becoming a therapist began while supporting my older sister after she developed postpartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM), a rare and serious heart condition that occurred after the birth of her child. She became seriously  ill when her newborn was just four days old and later experienced severe depression. Walking alongside her and our family during that time showed me the impact that compassionate, evidence-based mental health care can have, and it inspired me to pursue this profession.

Today, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard treatment for OCD, while also incorporating evidence-based approaches for panic disorder, social anxiety, and other anxiety-related concerns. I also provide family therapy to help families adjust to changing life circumstances, improve communication, reduce accommodation of anxiety and OCD, and create meaningful change.

If you’re looking for practical, evidence-based therapy in a supportive environment, I’d be happy to connect.
