About Krishna
Krishna Priya Rayala is a Marriage and Family Therapist with her Associate License pending in the state of Georgia. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University and has successfully passed the national licensing examination. Prior to entering the mental health field, Krishna spent over a decade working as an engineer in the corporate world, where she developed a deep appreciation for both problem-solving and the complexity of human systems.

Krishna’s path into therapy was shaped by both professional curiosity and personal reflection. She understands firsthand the challenges of balancing responsibilities, cultural expectations, family roles, and personal growth. These experiences inform her belief that many of the struggles individuals and families face—such as anxiety, relationship conflict, or feeling stuck in recurring patterns—are often rooted in deeper relational and emotional experiences.

She works with teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, developmental trauma, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, and life transitions. Krishna takes an integrative, client-centered approach, incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT-informed skills, and the Gottman Method to support meaningful and lasting change.

Krishna is committed to creating a thoughtful, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their stories. She believes therapy is not about “fixing” what is broken, but about helping individuals reconnect with their inner strengths, gain clarity, and build healthier, more fulfilling patterns in their lives and relationships.

Her work is also grounded in an appreciation for the impact of culture, family systems, and personal meaning on emotional wellbeing, allowing her to provide care that is both attuned and holistic.
